SAVE PROJECT keeps your work inside SOCIAL and FRAME, ready on the Saved shelf. SAVE PROJECT FILE makes a file you can keep or take to another computer. In POSTCARD they are SAVE POSTCARDS and SAVE POSTCARDS FILE. In PROOF, SAVE ALL or SAVE SELECTED, and SAVE PROOF FILE. Big projects save now too, and if a save can't finish, it tells you.
FRAME, POSTCARD and ZINE have their own guide now, the way SOCIAL does. The link sits at the foot of each tool, beside the version.
In FRAME, ZINE, POSTCARD, PROOF and EDIT, drag a photo along the tray and a thin line shows where it lands. Selected photos move together. Option and an arrow key moves one photo a place. On an iPad, press and hold, then drag. One Undo puts it back. When the tray shows a LIBRARY collection or All, LIBRARY keeps the new order too.
Drag your tray into the order you want and Make my calendar fills the months in that order. Focused workspace has its own link in the panel now, and Exit focused workspace takes you back.
Watch your postcard turn over, front to back, paper and all. In Export, choose Flip the card as a GIF or an MP4. Pick the frame and a background: Studio grid, Paper, White, Colour or your own photo. MP4s come in HD or 4K, with Loops and a Preview before you save. E opens Export.
Shift+R turns the card from either side, and the back stays where you are. Messages sit above Export where you can read them. Esc closes Export.
Typing undoes as one step, not letter by letter, and Undo never empties a new zine. Your last change is still there after a reload. Open a Saved Zine, on the start screen, lists the zines saved on this device.
A Fill sheet opens in Fill, a Freeform sheet in Freeform, the rest in Sizes. Reorder the tray and the photos you placed stay in their cells.
Type in SEARCH to find photos by name. Tap the heart on a photo and it joins FAVOURITES, between ALL and REMOVED. Drag photos in from Finder, onto the photos or straight onto a collection. Empty Removed clears Removed for good. SELECTED PHOTO shows the date it was Taken and the collections it's In.
LIBRARY opens much faster, even with thousands of photos, and adding or removing photos no longer makes you wait. Rename… is in a photo's ··· menu. The arrow keys move through your photos. PRINT is last in the top menu, as in every tool.
In the Studio app, Edit > Undo and Redo now undo and redo your photo edits, and Command-Z works right after you move a slider. Drag a photo along the tray to reorder. An Original and its Edits move together.
Layouts start with a Blank print and three ready to go: Photo print, Words + details and A small story. Save a design you love and use it again.
The paper scans from SOCIAL and POSTCARD are in FRAME now. Pick a paper, set the strength and add a little grain. It comes through in your exports too.
Give your card an aged paper look, with strength, grain and paper colour. The back can be a little lighter, the same, or plain. It shows in every export.
Leave a binder edge on Letter or A4 sheets and add punch marks if you like. There's a Cricut paper size and export now too. Film dates are optional.
Clear tray empties the tray and leaves the photos on your board right where they are. Drop a batch of photos on the board and they land as a tidy grid. One Undo puts it back.
Text blocks on a contact print now come through in every export. Return finishes a caption.
3.5 × 5, 4 × 6, 5 × 7, A6, 5 × 5 and 6 × 6. Tap a size to choose it. Tap it again to turn the card.
5 × 5 and 6 × 6 cards have a writing back: blank, lined, dot grid or an inset box. Switch back to a rectangle and its address and stamps are still there.
A new Memory card opens with room for a story beside the photo, under the date and stamps. Write as much as you like, in paragraphs.
Choose Dated or Perpetual, a full year or just the months you want, and a size. Frame makes every page and fills them with photos from your tray or the Library collection you have open. One Undo takes it all back.
One sheet for the whole year. Choose Linear, Columns or Grid, and a size from Letter to 24 × 36. Download a PDF at the true sheet size.
Choose Card 5 × 7, Card A2, Card 4½ × 6¼, or a Full page in Letter or A4. The printing steps name the right edge to flip for each format.
Choose Focused from the Workspace line in the Studio menu. The postcard gets more room, with tabs for Card, Front, Back, Save and Export. Your photos sit on a shelf you can move or hide.
Story cards are now Journal cards, including 4 × 4. A new card is ready to type on. Choose Plain, Lines, Grid or Dot grid paper.
Open a full-screen room right in your writing. Pages flow with a thin break. Choose focus on the paragraph or the sentence, and the line you are on stays in the middle. Pick white, beige, brown or night paper. Esc takes you back.
Once a day Writer keeps a copy of all your work, for 14 days. Restore deleted pieces to bring back what is missing, or restore the entire backup to replace everything.
Every dropdown in the tools now looks and behaves the same. The chosen row wears each tool's own colour.
Open any Draft as a calm web page. Studio paper or white, three type styles, your photos at their Draft sizes. Save it as one page or a PDF.
Weekly, monthly, yearly and 30-day trackers. Small circles fill full, half or a quarter. Choose New notebook, then Trackers.
Frame tells you when saving pauses, still downloads your file when storage is full, and asks before a project goes. In the desktop app.
Export shows its progress with a Cancel. Share sends your prints straight to Messages or AirDrop. In the desktop app.
Full bleed fills the cover and every page. Pocket starters give you a twelve page fold ready for photos. In the desktop app.
The printing instructions open on their own after a booklet export. In the desktop app.
Save every selected photo at once. Tray thumbnails show each photo's look as you work. In the desktop app.
A blue sky really quiets down now. Clarity and Dehaze stay local, and the tone curve is gentler. In the desktop app.
The large view shows your original or saved edit at full size. In the desktop app.
Leave room for a three-hole punch, with guides on screen. Sizes always fit the paper now. In the desktop app.
